are developing a computerised Portfolio Management System incorporating Customer Service Standards (currently based on the UK Standards). The funding has been granted by Europe to develope the Computerised Portfolio Management System as a method to improve access to a qualification and to test the methodology in respect of other standards.

An additional 140,000 products may be sourced for customers requiring non-stock items. Products can also be delivered on a dealer's behalf direct to consumers via the purpose built Dealer Distribution Centre. Spicers is a member of the BOSS Federation, EMMSA and has ISO9002 and Investor in People accreditation.


Tertia/Tech 3000 , France, a vocational training institute created in 1968, is a product of the Chamber of Commerce of Valenciennes. The work of Tertia/Tech 3000 ranges from a variety of courses for company employees, fee-paying students, apprentices and the unemployed in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Secretarial training, Languages, Tourism, Communication, Computing, Computer Graphics, Industrial Design and Production Management. The Chamber of Commerce also runs consultancy services for industry in the areas of computing, commerce and company training.
