MUSK PROJECT DEMO
FOR CAMPUS BIO-MEDICO OF ROME

The purpose of this demo is to show how an educational videotape can be converted to digital format with an index to the content, so that the user is able to jump directly to the subject he or she is interested in.

You need Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1 and, if you have not installed the complete version,
you must add the MediaPlayer in order to watch the video
.
If you have problems (unsafe ActiveX or similar message) while using the "Embedded player version",
you should lower your security level for browsing, enabling unsigned ActiveX controls.
This version does not work properly with Netscape Communicator 4.

We show here two different interfaces, using a floating stand alone player and one embedded in the web page. The embedded version shows a smaller size (75%), even though the source is the same. The links at the right  take you to a list of topics. Each one will point to the specific time point when the topic is addressed.
In the full Intranet implementation in Campus Bio-Medico, the indexes are also stored in a central database. They can be queried by the users, in order to get only the requested partial video clip.
